A place of opportunity for the sons of the City, Salford Grammar School opened in 1914 at Leaf Square. The school moved in 1956 to what was then a purpose built modern building at Eccles Old Road. Yet the distinguished history of the school was made and created by the boys who attended and the teachers who moulded them.
