Vice Chairman Alan Winterbottom gives a vivid impression of the building that first housed Salford Grammar School. The school began life here in 1914 and lasted until 1956 when it moved to the Eccles Old Road site. Thanks to Alan, one of the few remaining Old Salfordians who attended, Leaf Square is captured here for future generations.
