The people donated generously so that this website could be created.
The Old Salfordians Association would like to thank all the people who contributed towards its Oral History Project. A special mention should also go to Councillors Darren Grice and Hannah Robinson-Smith from Salford City Council who saw the potential of the project and its cultural significance to the city. Their enthusiasm and encouragement from the onset played proved to be invaluable. The Old Salfordians website and Oral History Project would not have been possible without the matched funding from Salford City Council and for that the Association will be eternally grateful.
The Association would also like to put on record its thanks to Paul Ashworth and Andy Ward from PUSH> who designed and built the website and made its navigation as easy as possible for Old Salfordians.
The Salford Grammar School Oral History Project had a lengthy gestation period and there were many obstacles to overcome, but the result is something that everyone who donated to, and worked on, should be very proud.
